2And these [are] the names of the sons of Gedson; Lobeni, and Semei.
2And the sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.
3The sons of Caath; Ambram, and Issaar, Chebron, and Oziel.
3And the children of Amram; Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. The sons also of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
4The sons of Merari; Mooli and Musi: and these [are] the families of Levi, according to their families.
4Eleazar begat Phinehas, Phinehas begat Abishua,
5To Gedson—to Lobeni his son—[were born] Jeth his son, Zammath his son,
5And Abishua begat Bukki, and Bukki begat Uzzi,
6Joab his son, Addi his son, Zara his son, Jethri his son.
6And Uzzi begat Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begat Meraioth,
7The sons of Caath; Aminadab his son, Core his son, Aser his son;
7Meraioth begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,
8Helcana his son, Abisaph his son, Aser his son:
8And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Ahimaaz,

9And Ahimaaz begat Azariah, and Azariah begat Johanan,
10And the sons of Helcana; Amessi, and Achimoth.
10And Johanan begat Azariah, (he it is that executed the priest’s office in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem:)
11Helcana his son, Suphi his son, Cainaath his son;

12And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,
13The sons of Samuel; the first-born Sani, and Abia.
13And Shallum begat Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begat Azariah,
14The sons of Merari; Mooli, Lobeni his son, Semei his son, Oza his son;
14And Azariah begat Seraiah, and Seraiah begat Jehozadak,
15Samaa his son, Angia his son, Asaias his son.
15And Jehozadak went into captivity, when the Lord carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.
16And these [were the men] whom David set over the service of the singers in the house of the Lord when the ark was at rest.
16The sons of Levi; Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.
17And they ministered in front of the tabernacle of witness [playing] on instruments, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they stood according to their order for their services.
17And these be the names of the sons of Gershom; Libni, and Shimei.
18And these [were the men] that stood, and their sons, of the sons of Caath: Æman the psalm singer, son of Joel, the son of Samuel,
18And the sons of Kohath were, Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.
19the son of Helcana, the son of Jeroboam, the son of Eliel, the son of Thoas,
19The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. And these are the families of the Levites according to their fathers.
20the son of Suph, the son of Helcana, the son of Maath, the son of Amathi,

32And they ministered before the dwelling place of the tabernacle of the congregation with singing, until Solomon had built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem: and then they waited on their office according to their order.
33And their brethren according to the houses of their fathers, [were] the Levites who were appointed to all the work of ministration of the tabernacle of the house of God.
33And these are they that waited with their children. Of the sons of the Kohathites: Heman a singer, the son of Joel, the son of Shemuel,
34And Aaron and his sons [were] to burn incense on the altar of whole-burnt-offerings, and on the altar of incense, for all the ministry [in] the holy of holies, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all things that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded.
34The son of Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Eliel, the son of Toah,
35And these [are] the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son , Phinees his son , Abisu his son ,
35The son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,
36Bokki his son , Ozi his son , Saraia his son ,
36The son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,

40And they gave them Chebron in the land of Juda, and its suburbs round about it.
40The son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchiah,
41But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Chaleb the son of Jephonne.
41The son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,
42And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge, [even] Chebron, and Lobna and her suburbs round about, and Selna and her suburbs, and Esthamo and her suburbs,
42The son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei,
43and Jethar and her suburbs, and Dabir and her suburbs,
43The son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.
44and Asan and her suburbs, and Bæthsamys and her suburbs:
44And their brethren the sons of Merari stood on the left hand: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,
45and of the tribe of Benjamin Gabai and her suburbs, and Galemath and her suburbs, and Anathoth and her suburbs: all their cities [were] thirteen cities according to their families.
45The son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,
46And to the sons of Caath that were left of their families, [there were given] out of the tribe, [namely], out of the half-tribe of Manasse, by lot, ten cities.
46The son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shamer,
47And to the sons of Gedson according to their families [there were given] thirteen cities of the tribe of Issachar, of the tribe of Aser, of the tribe of Nephthali, of the tribe of Manasse in Basan.
47The son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
48And to the sons of Merari according to their families [there were given], by lot, twelve cities of the tribe of Ruben, of the tribe of Gad, [and] of the tribe of Zabulon.
48Their brethren also the Levites were appointed unto all manner of service of the tabernacle of the house of God.
49So the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their suburbs.
49But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.
50And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Juda, and out of the tribe of the children of Symeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which they call by name.
50And these are the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,
51And [to the members] of the families of the sons of Caath there were also given the cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.
51Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,
52And they gave them the cities of refuge, Sychem and her suburbs in mount Ephraim, and Gazer and her suburbs,
52Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,
53and Jecmaan and her suburbs, and Bæthoron and her suburbs,
53Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.
54and Ælon and her suburbs, and Gethremmon and her suburbs:
54Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot.
55and of the half-tribe of Manasse Anar and her suburbs, and Jemblaan and her suburbs, to the sons of Caath that were left, according to [each several] family.
55And they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and the suburbs thereof round about it.
56To the sons of Gedson from the families of the half-tribe of Manasse [they gave] Golan of Basan and her suburbs, and Aseroth and her suburbs.
56But the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
57And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedes and her suburbs, and Deberi and her suburbs, and Dabor and her suburbs,
57And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of Judah, namely, Hebron, the city of refuge, and Libnah with her suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs,
58and Ramoth, and Ænan and her suburbs.
58And Hilen with her suburbs, Debir with her suburbs,
59And of the tribe of Aser; Maasal and her suburbs, and Abdon and her suburbs,
59And Ashan with her suburbs, and Beth–shemesh with her suburbs:
60and Acac and her suburbs, and Roob and her suburbs.
60And out of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with her suburbs, and Alemeth with her suburbs, and Anathoth with her suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.
61And of the tribeof Nephthali; Kedes in Galilee and her suburbs, and Chamoth and her suburbs, and Kariathaim and her suburbs.
61And unto the sons of Kohath, which were left of the family of that tribe, were cities given out of the half tribe, namely, out of the half tribe of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.
62To the sons of Merari that were left, [they gave] out of the tribe of Zabulon Remmon and her suburbs, and Thabor and her suburbs:
62And to the sons of Gershom throughout their families out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.
63out of [the country] beyond Jordan; Jericho westward of Jordan: out of the tribe of Ruben; Bosor in the wilderness and her suburbs, and Jasa and her suburbs,
63Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, throughout their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
64and Kadmoth and her suburbs, and Maephla and her suburbs.
64And the children of Israel gave to the Levites these cities with their suburbs.
65Out of the tribe of Gad; Rammoth Galaad and her suburbs, and Maanaim and her suburbs,
65And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are called by their names.
66and Esebon and her suburbs, and Jazer and her suburbs.
66And the residue of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their coasts out of the tribe of Ephraim.
