1And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
1And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2Behold, I have called by name Beseleel the son of Urias the son of Or, of the tribe of Juda.
2See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:
3And I have filled him [with] a divine spirit of wisdom, and understanding, and knowledge, to invent in every work,
3And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
4and to frame works, to labor in gold, and silver, and brass, and blue, and purple, and spun scarlet,
4To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
5and works in stone, and for artificers' work in wood, to work at all works.
5And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.
6And Ihave appointed him and Eliab the [son] of Achisamach of the tribe of Dan, and to every one understanding in heart I have given understanding; and they shall make all things as many as I have appointed you, —
6And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;
7the tabernacle of witness, and the ark of the covenant, and the propitiatory that is upon it, and the furniture of the tabernacle,
7The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle,
8and the altars, and the table and all its furniture,
8And the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incense,
9and the pure candlestick and all its furniture, and the laver and its base,
9And the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot,
10and Aaron's robes of ministry, and the robes of his sonsto minister to me as priests,
10And the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office,
11and the anointing oiland the compound incense of the sanctuary; according to all that I have commanded you shall they make them.
11And the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded thee shall they do.
12And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
12And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
13Do you also charge the children of Israel, saying, Take heed and keep my sabbaths; [for] they are a sign with me and among you throughout your generations, that you⌃ may know that I am the Lord that sanctifies you.
13Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you.
14And you⌃ shall keep the sabbaths, because this is holy to the Lord for you; he that profanes it shall surely be put to death: every one who shall do a work on it, that soul shall be destroyed from the midst of his people.
14Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
15Six days you shall do works, but the seventh day is the sabbath , a holy rest to the Lord; every one who shall do a work on the seventh dayshall be put to death.
15Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
16And the children of Israel shall keep the sabbaths, to observe them throughout their generations.
16Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
17It is a perpetual covenant with me and the children of Israel, it is a perpetual sign with me; for in six days the Lord made the heaven and the earth, and on the seventh day he ceased, and rested.
17It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
