1And if his gift to the Lord be a peace-offering, if he should bring it of the oxen, whether it be male or whether it be female, he shall bring it unblemished before the Lord.
1“‘If his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings, if he offers it from the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without defect before Yahweh.
2And he shall lay his hands on the head of the gift, and shall kill it before the Lord, by the doors of the tabernacle of witness. And the priests the sons of Aaron shall pour the blood on the altar of burnt offerings round about.
2He shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it at the door of the Tent of Meeting. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle the blood around on the altar.
3And they shall bring of the peace-offering a burnt sacrifice to the Lord, the fat covering the belly, and all the fat on the belly.
3He shall offer of the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire to Yahweh. The fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards,
4And the two kidneysand the fat that is upon them; he shall take away that which is on the thighs, and the caul above the liver together with the kidneys.
4and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.
5And the priests the sons of Aaronshall offer them on the altar on the burnt offering, on the wood which is on the fire upon the altar: [it is] a burnt offering , a smell of sweet savor to the Lord.
5Aaron’s sons shall burn it on the altar on the burnt offering, which is on the wood that is on the fire: it is an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.
6And if his gift be of the sheep, a peace-offering to the Lord, male or female, he shall bring it unblemished.
6“‘If his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh is from the flock, either male or female, he shall offer it without defect.
7If he bring a lamb for his gift, he shall bring it before the Lord.
7If he offers a lamb for his offering, then he shall offer it before Yahweh;
8And he shall lay his hands on the head of his offering, and shall kill it by the doors of the tabernacle of witness; and the priests the sons of Aaronshall pour out the blood on the altar round about.
8and he shall lay his hand on the head of his offering, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting. Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.
9And he shall bring of the peace-offering a burnt sacrifice to the Lord: the fat and the hinder part unblemished he shall take away with the loins, and having taken away all the fat that covers the belly, and all the fat that is on the belly,
9He shall offer from the sacrifice of peace offerings an offering made by fire to Yahweh; its fat, the entire tail fat, he shall take away close to the backbone; and the fat that covers the entrails, and all the fat that is on the entrails,
10and both the kidneysand the fat that is upon them, [and] that which is on the thighs, and the caul which is on the liverwith the kidneys,
10and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.
11the priest shall offer these on the altar: [it is] a sacrifice of sweet savor, a burnt offering to the Lord.
11The priest shall burn it on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire to Yahweh.
12And if his offering be of the goats, then shall he bring it before the Lord.
12“‘If his offering is a goat, then he shall offer it before Yahweh.
13And he shall lay his hands on its head; and they shall kill it before the Lord by the doors of the tabernacle of witness; and the priests the sons of Aaron shall pour out the blood on the altar round about.
13He shall lay his hand on its head, and kill it before the Tent of Meeting; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.
14And he shall offer of it a burnt offeringto the Lord, [even] the fat that covers the belly, and all the fat that is on the belly.
14He shall offer from it as his offering, an offering made by fire to Yahweh; the fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is on the innards,
15And both the kidneys, and all the fat that is upon them, that which is upon the thighs, and the caul of the liverwith the kidneys, shall he take away.
15and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the loins, and the cover on the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away.
16And the priest shall offer it upon the altar: [it is] a burnt offering , a smell of sweet savor to the Lord. All the fat [belongs] to the Lord.
16The priest shall burn them on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire, for a pleasant aroma; all the fat is Yahweh’s.
17[It is] a perpetual statute throughout your generations, in all your habitations; you⌃ shall eat no fat and no blood.
17“‘It shall be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings, that you shall eat neither fat nor blood.’”
