¹(110) A Psalm of David. The Lord said to my Lord, Sit you on my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.

¹For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. God of my praise, don’t remain silent,

²The Lord shall send out a rod of power for you out of Sion: rule you in the midst of your enemies.

²for they have opened the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit against me. They have spoken to me with a lying tongue.

³With you is dominion in the day of your power, in the splendors of your saints: I have begotten you from the womb before the morning.

³They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, and fought against me without a cause.

⁴The Lord swore, and will not repent, You are a priest for ever, after the order of Melchisedec.

⁴In return for my love, they are my adversaries; but I am in prayer.

⁵The Lord at your right hand has dashed in pieces kings in the day of his wrath.

⁵They have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

⁶He shall judge among the nations, he shall fill up [the number of] corpses, he shall crush the heads of many on the earth.

⁶Set a wicked man over him. Let an adversary stand at his right hand.

⁷He shall drink of the brook in the way; therefore shall he lift up the head.

⁷When he is judged, let him come out guilty. Let his prayer be turned into sin.
