1(111) Alleluia. I will give you thanks, O Lord, with my whole heart, in the council of the upright, and [in] the congregation.
1A Psalm by David. Yahweh says to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool for your feet.
2The works of the Lord are great, sought out according to all his will.
2Yahweh will send out the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule among your enemies.
3His work is [worthy of] thanksgiving and honor: and his righteousness endures for ever and ever.
3Your people offer themselves willingly in the day of your power, in holy array. Out of the womb of the morning, you have the dew of your youth.
4He has caused his wonderful works to be remembered: the Lord is merciful and compassionate.
4Yahweh has sworn, and will not change his mind: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.
5He has given food to them that fear him: he will remember his covenant for ever.
5The Lord is at your right hand. He will crush kings in the day of his wrath.
6He has declared to his people the power of his works, to give them the inheritance of the heathen.
6He will judge among the nations. He will heap up dead bodies. He will crush the ruler of the whole earth.
7The works of his hands are truth and judgment: all his commandments are sure:
7He will drink of the brook on the way; therefore he will lift up his head.
