1(99) A Psalm of David. The Lord reigns; —let the people rage; [it is he] that sits upon the cherubs, let the earth be moved.
1A Psalm. Sing to Yahweh a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him.
2The Lord is great in Sion, and is high over all the people.
2Yahweh has made known his salvation. He has openly shown his righteousness in the sight of the nations.
3Let them give thanks to your great name; for it is terrible and holy.
3He has remembered his loving kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4And the king's honor loves judgment; you have prepared equity, you have wrought judgment and justice in Jacob.
4Make a joyful noise to Yahweh, all the earth! Burst out and sing for joy, yes, sing praises!
5Exalt you⌃ the Lord our God, and worship [at] his footstool; for he is holy.
5Sing praises to Yahweh with the harp, with the harp and the voice of melody.
6Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he heard them.
6With trumpets and sound of the ram’s horn, make a joyful noise before the King, Yahweh.
7He spoke to them in a pillar of cloud; they kept his testimonies, and the ordinances which he gave them.
7Let the sea roar with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein.
8O Lord our God, you heard them; O God, you became propitious to them, though you did take vengeance on all their devices.
8Let the rivers clap their hands. Let the mountains sing for joy together.
9Exalt you⌃ the Lord our God, and worship at his holy mountain; for the Lord our God is holy.
9Let them sing before Yahweh, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.
